［北斎(ほくさい)美術館(びじゅつかん)×ひらがなネットの共同(きょうどう)企画(きかく)］
東京(とうきょう)で芸者(げいしゃ)さんがもっとも多(おお)い町(まち)「向島(むこうじま)」を散歩(さんぽ)します。
そして、江戸時代(えどじだい)に生(う)まれたあそび、投扇興(とうせんきょう)を体験(たいけん)します。牛嶋(うしじま)神社(じんじゃ)では手(て)づくりの品物(しなもの)が並(なら)ぶ「ものコト市(し)」もやっています。
葛飾(かつしか)北斎(ほくさい)が暮(く)らした「江戸時代(えどじだい)とすみだの町(まち)」に触(ふ)れてください。

［The Sumida Hokusai Museum x Hiragana Net Joint Project］
We will take a walk in Mukojima, a town in Tokyo that has the many geisha. We will try a fan tossing game that was invented in the Edo period. We will also go to Ushijima Shrine where the “Monokoto-Ichi” handmade craft market is being held. We hope that you will be able to experience both the Edo period and Sumida, the town where Katsushika Hokusai lived, on this tour.

  自分(じぶん)の体(からだ)の悪(わる)い部分(ぶぶん)をなで、牛(うし)の同(おな)じところをなでると病気(びょうき)がなおるという「なで牛(うし)」があります。 境内(けいだい)では「ものコト市(し)」が立(た)ち、にぎやかです。
  A “petting cow” that has been around since the Edo period is at this shrine. If you pet the cow at the same you have problems in your body, it is said that the problem will be cured. The shrine grounds will be busy this day, as the “Monokoto-Ichi” handmade craft market will be taking place.

  三越(みつこし)を創業(そうぎょう)した三井(みつい)家(いえ)が江戸(えど)に進出(しんしゅつ)して以来(いらい)、守護神(しゅごしん)として大切(たいせつ)にしてきました。 三越(みつこし)のシンボルであるライオン像(ぞう)もあります。
  The guardian deities at this shrine have protected the Mitsui family, the founders of Mitsukoshi departments stores, since the Edo period. A lion statue, the symbol of Mitsukoshi, is at this shrine.

  投扇興(とうせんきょう)の講師(こうし)のみなさんは、向島(むこうじま)の住人(じゅうにん)の方(かた)たちです。 町(まち)の人(ひと)しか使(つか)うことのできない場所(ばしょ)で、江戸時代(えどじだい)から続(つづ)く投扇興(とうせんきょう)を体験(たいけん)しましょう。
  All fan tossing game instructors are citizens of Mukojima. We will try the fan tossing game that has been around since the Edo period at a place that usually only people who live in Mukojima can go.
